Add-On Containment For Motorized Stage

The containment add-on has been developed for users who need to handle samples under particular environmental conditions occasionally. It can be added to the motorized stage. If not required, the add-on is removed within minutes as well.

As with the motorized stage, samples are preferably placed either on an SEM stub/mount or directly on the platform. The containment add-on is suitable for sample sizes up to a diameter of 30 mm and a height of 10 mm. This add-on suits sample preparation in oxygen-free atmospheres or low-vacuum conditions.
