From version 2.5.0.24, a Microsoft Windows 10 operating system is mandatory.

Please save the recipes (c:\microprep\recipe) before updating the software. Some versions update the structure of the recipes used. These recipes cannot be opened with old versions of microPREP GUI.

Bug fixes

Recipes whose version is newer than the current one are now marked as invalid
Failure to read the laser frequency could lead to a markspeed of 0 (SN and FEMTO)
With camera angle of exactly 0° the shift marks in the camera overlays were rotated by 180°
Shift marks in Thinning and BoxMilling adjusted to be displayed on the intended side
LaserAssistant could not be started if the laser did not support 20 kHz (SN and FEMTO)
Multiple was not saved in the Ramp process
At a focus determination with tilted A-axis the axis positions were saved as valid focus
If an error (e.g. limit reached) was triggered in the FocusControl this led to an abort of the process (leaving the Prepare)
Cutting: the BridgeBox was ignored for the surrounding rectangle
FEMTO: TimeOut at WarmUp corrected
SN: system state was interpreted as bitfield but is not one
SN: at power on all states are checked
MCS1 application freezes during axis movements; cache for axis tracking

- The additional Shift key press for releasing/connecting the move markers (necessary for rotation with the mouse) can be turned off in the options under Overlay. Thereby I discovered another feature: if you point with the mouse to the center point you can rotate with the mouse wheel (Shift-key must be held down, can also be turned off via the new option).

Homing overworked
